Watts-Up is a project that connects in-home electricity meters to Facebook, to allow for social comparison and competition in home energy usage.

Power Ballads is a pilot study that explores the use of ‘Aversive’ feedback in the context of delivering information on home energy consumption.

Slow HCI is a commitment to only using technological interventions where necessary and with concern for the environmental impact of our research. Technologies are carefully chosen based on the core research requirements, rather than novelty or fashions.
