ENACT

The ENACT (Exploiting social Networks to Augment Cognitive behavioural Therapy) project is funded by the EPSRC (http://www.epsrc.ac.uk) and aims to improve the uptake, adherence and completion rates of those referred to Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CCBT). In order to do this, we intend to harness the engaging power of online social network (OSN) platforms, social computer games and mobile technology.

LiSC are the co-ordinating investigators on this project and are responsible for a number of different work packages, including basic research on understanding how and why people use social media, and the development of novel technologies to enhance the experience of CCBT for users.
