Death and Social Media

Here at LiSC we are exploring issues surrounding social media and dying. We are interested in interviewing people over the age of 18 who are regular users of Facebook or Twitter to explore their attitudes to the way that death is treated in online environments, and how individuals who die are remembered and grieved for through their social media profiles.

You do not need to have personal experience of death on Facebook, but you do need to be regular Facebook users. If you are interested in participating, and want to find out more about the project, please contact Sue Jamison-Powell on sjamisonpowell@lincoln.ac.uk.
